Onion Routing
Onion routing adds an extra layer of separation when privacy matters more than taking the shortest route.
September 30, 2026
Your traffic is split, entering the doxx.net network, and leaving through multiple exit locations simultaneously.
1.Features
- Separate the place your traffic enters doxx.net from where it exits.
- Add another routing step when privacy matters more than the shortest path.
- Use a routing control that serves a different purpose from disguising the connection with Covert Networking.
To enable onion routing and learn more navigate to: Account → Settings ⚙ → Privacy → Onion Routing.
2.Common Questions
Why can Onion Routing feel slower?
The connection has more distance or routing steps to cover. That can add delay, so it may feel less responsive than a more direct route.
Does Onion Routing replace Covert Networking?
No. They address different problems: routing separation versus getting a disguised connection through network filters.
Does it make me anonymous when I sign in to a website?
No. The site can still recognize the account you sign in with. Changing the route doesn't remove information you give the destination.
