Why won’t doxx.net connect on some Wi-Fi networks?
Complete the network’s sign-in steps, then try Covert Networking if the connection is still blocked.
October 1, 2026
Hotel, airport and café Wi-Fi networks may require you to sign in before connecting. Complete the network’s portal steps, such as entering an email address or accepting its terms, then try connecting to doxx.net. doxx.net does not bypass these portals.
Some networks also restrict tunnel traffic. If you still can’t connect, try Covert Networking.
Using Covert Networking
If a network doesn’t allow connections through doxx.net, try changing the Covert Networking settings to one of the following:
Protocols:
- ICMP Echo (Ping Requests and Reply Tunneling). Its lower bandwidth capacity may reduce connection speed.
- Cloudflare WSS (TCP 443, CDN-proxied WebSocket)
UDP Ports:
- 53 (DNS)
- 443 (HTTPS)
- 123 (NTP)
Limitations
Some networks block all tunnel traffic. If these options don’t work, doxx.net may be unable to connect on that network.
