Saved Connection
A dedicated public IPv4 address gives you a consistent address that isn't shared with other customers.
September 30, 2026
This is especially useful with public sites that recognize your connection by IP (such as banks, government websites, or services), so that they recognize your traffic arriving from a consistent IP address.
The address and the access rules do different jobs. Having a dedicated IP doesn't automatically make your services publicly accessible.
1.Features
- Reserve a public IPv4 address for your use instead of sharing it with other customers.
- Keep a consistent address for services that recognize you by IP.
- Combine the address with access rules when you want to make a service reachable.
2.To lease a public IP
On the app, navigate to: Account → Settings ⚙ → Connection Settings → Saved Connections.
On the portal, navigate to: My Network → Saved Connections.
- Select the version (IPv4, IPv6, or both).
- Select the location.
3.Common Questions
Does a dedicated IP work when I am connected to every location?
No, you will only be routed through your static IP when you are connected to the IP’s location.
Will a dedicated IP guarantee that a website accepts my connection?
No. A consistent IP can help a site recognize your connection, but each site still applies its own checks and access rules.
Does it make my device public?
Not by itself. Your firewall rules and service settings still control incoming access.
Where can I check the price and availability?
A Dedicated IP is an add-on on either plan for $10/month, billed monthly. Review the options shown for your account before leasing an address.
